Sorry for not updating my blog in a long time..

Then I put on my t-shirt coz I was wearing singlet n short pants 2 sleep coz yesterday was very2 hot.
I opened the door and at first I thought it was my realtives come to visit us...well just me coz I was the only 1 in d house..

• Dad= Went back 2 Kpg to send my grand dad's meds.
• Mom= At work.Office hours.

Then I saw it was a Chinese dude came out of the truck(Hilux).
Then I was about to ask the guy why he was here when he said "Aircond2".
Now I know they are the guys(two young Chinese dude) who my dad called earlier 2 fix and service our air cond... Hehe..

The boys was nice.They talked 2 me and ask q's 2.
I help them a bit though.
And I just woken up frm sleep some more!
With my hair a mess,short pants and guess wat??

My faith in Him grew stronger.
I feel like I need to share this out of body experience coz I was so affected by it.
Those groups of moms,dads and teenager....
They have changed sum1's life witout even knwing it.
Sum1 like me was so blessed to attended yesterday's intercession.

Balik Kampung!!! The updates~~~Yeepee~~

Yes.. Finally,I've got the chance to go back to my mom's hometown in~

Saratok!!

Last Monday(11th May), my mom decided that we will go back to kampung since it's been soooo~ long that I've been there.Also,my mom thinks it's necessary that we go back because we want to spread the Word of God to the people there and preach.Open their eyes and maybe touch their heart to believe again.I couldn't agree more.. ;-) Yep,I know.. You must be thinking this right now."you?? Preaching??hahahaha.you must be kidding me!" Hey,we may not be a pastor or reverend,but at least we are trying to spread His words.. We dont need to wait for pastor to preach to them,we should help them,doncha think?? Things have been changed since I left home.. My brothers and my mom.. To me,they have been touched by God.They've changed for the better! My older bro is the one who had changed a lot.He has stopped smoking,leave the CNI bussiness.He even reads Bible now,not like before.He also joins any events that the church is organizing.All thanks to his friend,Michael(if I'm not mistaken) who opened his eyes.Hallelujah!! Puji Tuhan!So,before we went there,my mom se

rviced our car and bought foods and stuffs to be taken home.. We also brought along Bibles in Iban language,VCDs of preachers,VCDs about Jesus,"Passion of The Christ" DVD and also "Surat Pantun" to be given and watched to those in kampung who doesn't have them.After we packed our stuff, we head on for our journey..As it's been so long that I didn't went back, I started to feel sick(car sick)..Heheh..Anyways, I took pictures of our longhouse,took pics when we bathed in the river(;-) cant stop smiling) and so on.. My speech for Speech and Commnunication on 16 April 2009..

=Woahh.. The class finally have finished... Now I can relax a bit and starts studying(hopefully) tomorrow... Basically, this for this blog, I want to post my speech for Speech and Communication subject...It's not that great though I'm proud of of it.. The title is Ngajat: Only One of Its Kind.So, happy reading!

Ngajat: Only One of Its Kind

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Some of you might have seen the dance before, some of you might not. It’s called Ngajat and good morning to Madam Hamidah and my fellow mates. That’s the topic I’m going to talk to you all today. Before I start sharing my experiences dancing the dance with all of you, I would like to tell you about Ngajat. First of all, Ngajat is the native dance of the Ibans in Sarawak. The Ngajat dance is believed to have been performed by warriors on their return from battles. This dance is now performed to celebrate the most important harvest festival called ‘Gawai Dayak’, welcoming guests to the longhouses, or even performing for school festivals.

Well, the male dancers would wear large feathers as part of their headgear; hold a blowpipe called “sumpit” and long shield in their hand called “terabai”, and a loincloth called the “cawat” or “sirat” and also the “baju burung”. The female dancers have a beautiful headdress called “sugu tinggi”, chains, beads and a ‘skirt’ that goes below knee length with complex and beautiful weaving. Traditionally this dance was only performed by male dancers but nowadays, Ngajat performed mostly by females. Iban men and women have different styles of Ngajat. The Ngajat for men is more aggressive and depicts a man going to war, or a bird flying (as a respect to the Iban god of war, Sengalang Burung) or hold a rice mortar or “lesung” with their teeth. In contrast, the women's form of Ngajat consists of soft, graceful movements. Each Ngajat is accompanied by the Tabuh which is the name of the music used for Ngajat.

And now my fellow mates,I would like to share a few minutes to tell my experience last month, regarding the Ngajat dancing. I was performing the Ngajat dance for the last TESL night and also for the MPP night. Before the big nights, me and my friends had tiring nights because we had to practice every day from the evening until late night. We also had to gone through all the scolding and sarcastic remarks that we received from the bosses.

Actually, even though the dance looks simple and easy, well it’s hard for me to do because I have no experience dancing the Ngajat dance. So, I am lost. Luckily, I had a friend named Leha to help me out for the dance. Every time we practice the dance in one of our classes here in the faculty, I can feel that my body is moving stiffly. It won’t be moving as graceful as I wanted it to be. I was so frustrated with myself that at one point, I cried and was about to quit because I began to feel more self-conscious and I thought that everyone is laughing at me. However, I pull myself together and get through with it because my objectives in doing all these is to expose to people here about our dance, how the dance is actually performed and how proud I am to represent my people about our unique culture.

And so here I am, remembering it all clearly: 8 o’clock at night, the 11th and 14th of March, Dewan Utama, UNISEL. I can still remember the anxiety that I had. I can still recall all the noises backstage, the sound of my heartbeat pounding in my head and all the hectic going around backstage. When we were called out to perform, the heart beats faster and all the questions of doubts came rushing into my mind like a waterfall falling from the cliffs.

Will the audience like our dance? Will our efforts be wasted? Will I mess up on stage and looking like and an awkward idiot? All those questions overwhelmed me and I actually had to shake it off so that I won’t forget the steps. When we were dancing up on the stage, all those anxiety and question of doubts vanished. The words, those faces and self-consciousness, all gone. All I can remember was I was actually enjoying myself during both nights that I performed for TESL and MPP night.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have different experiences for both TESL and MPP nights but unfortunately beloved friends, we don’t have enough time. All I can say is that my experiences turns out to be one of my best memories ever. Thank you very much for listening.

Then,he drive(insanely driving,I might add) all the way there and I get to search and buy the book that I need in one of the best bookstore.. MPH.. huhuhu..

We went to GSC to watch movie.

What movie??

Dragonball:Evolution

When I was a kid, me and my brothers love to read DragonBall comic books from the first episode until the last.. The author of the manga is Akira ToriyamaSo,when I came to watch this movie,I came with high expectation.Ok.The movie is decent but its wasn't up to my expectation..The lead actor,Justin Chatwin, doesnt deliver the performance as Goku, the icon of the comic.Now,dont get me wrong.The actor is handsome and I would love to date him but his potrayal of Goku is just plain.For Dragonball fans,I wouldn't recommend the movie but if you want to see the special effects of this movie or just to chill and realx,just go and watch.One thing I like bout this movie is the handsome actor and the very impressive special effects.3 stars.

Ok.. enough bout DragonBall..

Ithink I better continue my doing my lesson Plan.. sigh..

Hai all!!! Finally,the struggle is over!(for now). Yahooo!! Now I can rest my head and pack my things because we need to do clearance again..uurgh.. which also means I will get a new hostel next sem... Aahh... Feels so great right now because this is the first time I will get to celebrate Christmas(Yahooo!) with my loved ones.... Heheh..
